Choices… choices… choices…
You’re looking for the right business to invest in, you have the capital, you have the talent, but with so many different franchise and business opportunities to chose from, you can’t see the forest for the trees, right? Well, why not own the whole forest?

Rather than risk putting all your hard earned investment money in one basket and hoping for the best, let us help you spread that risk by starting and managing your own, local MBE-barter-economy. Our current Licensees tell us it’s like owning your own bank: they have a small stake in all their members’ businesses and make money each time they save money by bartering for goods and services instead of spending cash.

Are You Looking For A Business That Offers…

· An immediate revenue stream
· $mid-six-figures potential first year income
· Make money off the same customer time and again
· A very rapid breakeven point
· Low running costs
· Ongoing, monthly residual income
· A small investment to start (only $75,000)
· Part financing available
· Truly recession-proof· No inventory to manage
· Comprehensive training and support

The Merchants Barter Difference
Bartering – the exchange of goods and services without the need for money – is nothing new, it has been used for thousands of years. It makes sense because it conserves cash, clears inventory, and opens up new avenues of credit. The challenge is finding people to trade with at the same time and in the same quantity, without creating another full time job. That’s where Merchants Barter comes in.

In 2000, Merchants Barter solved that problem once and for all, taking traditional bartering out of the Stone Age and into the 21st century, making it simple for almost any business to trade for items big and small at the same price as cash exclusively on a trade basis.

Instead of using cash dollars to buy goods and services, our members use MBE Dollars. We send our members new customers to earn MBE Dollars, and we help them spend that extra revenue with other members on the exchange. Simple.

But If Everybody’s Bartering, How Do I Make Money?
There are a number of ways to make money as a Licensee. Every new business you sign up pays a one-time membership fee of $895. That fee is yours, and it’s how you pay your sales team commissions. In addition to that, we charge a 10% cash fee on purchases members make, half of these monthly fees collected go to you also.

Not only do we take care of all the record keeping and day-to-day barter transactions for your members via our centralized brokerage (leaving you free to sell more), we also send out monthly statements (just like a bank or credit card company), and issue 1099b forms for tax purposes.

We help you hire, train, and manage a local team of direct sales professionals that sign up new members. From then on, your business is practically on cruise-control: just keep adding new members and our brokers take care of the rest.

Who We Are Looking ForEven though we believe our business model to be truly turn-key and suitable for anybody willing to work, there are certain qualities we have noticed in our Licensees that will stack success in your favor. Generally they:

· Are Interested In Business
· Have Outgoing, Engaging Personalities
· Have Business Sales or Managerial Experience
· Are Looking to Spread Their Risk
· Are Seeking a Headache-free Business To Run
· Want Short and Long-term Growth
· Seek a Quality Lifestyle and Flexibility
· Like to Lead By Example

I’m Interested, What’s Next?
Whether you’re a first time entrepreneur or successful business veteran, we think you’ll find our business model the perfect fit for our current economic situation. When you own your own barter economy, who cares if the markets go up or down – barter does well in any economy. If you’re excited to find out more about how Merchants Barter can put you on the path to success, simply apply for your no-obligation information pack and leave the rest to us.

Eileen, Thank you for your comment and interest in bartering and MBE-barter more specifically. Obviously, I am biased towards the greatly improved version of bartering via the Merchants Barter Exchange mechanism, which really does offer a multitude of benefits to the business member. The answer to your question is a resounding YES that business owners are prepared to pay to have access to the powerful benefits of MBE-bartering. I cannot, however, speak for inferior grades of barter companies (and there are close to 1400 small, local operations out there in the US alone) that tend to attempt to bolster their offering by joining together with other smaller localised barter firms. From my personal knowledge and experiences I have directly heard from business owners, I would not pay money to join their organizations without actually making sure by direct experience that you can BUY something first with the credits they will want to pay you in. This is a major strong point and selling point of the streamlined MBE-bartering system: ALL of our members can BUY FIRST at the same price as cash all via 100%-trade, no black-out dates, no restrictions once approved. The best way to find out more information is to check out our marketing website: http:www.barterfranchise.com complete the questionnaire at the bottom and one of our franchise experts will contact you directly to assist you with all your needs. You are also correct that under the current economic and market conditions, you are very smart to want to spread your business investment risk by starting your own MBE location. Please feel free to contact me with any further questions you may have.

Anthony. I've never owned a business before but I'm seriously looking and bartering seems to be all over the news these days. From what I've researched it makes total sense because what other choices do businesses have? What I need to know is if a business owner will actually pay to join a barter company and how does it all work? Can you help me?
